As one of the larger and more impressive playhouses in this range, the 11 x 6 Stef Axi Playhouse certainly does have a fantastic look. This tower playhouse is not too high off the ground so even younger children will be able to safely climb up the ladder, walk along the decking and then zoom down the slide. They will have a lot of fun doing this and spending time inside the playhouse which has a very generous amount of floor space for them to play and keep all their favourite toys. You adults are really going to enjoy being able to watch the kids use their imagination as they play in here and due to the awesome design, you will also be happy to have this as part of your garden.

This playhouse has been made so that as well as offering fun it is also safe and strong. Safety features such as the railing and the shatterproof acrylic windows are a great design choice. Another smart design choice is the tongue and groove shiplap cladding and solid, 38 mm thick frame that make this such a robust playhouse. Your kids are going to be able to enjoy this for many years and even when they are grown up with kids of their own they are bound to still remember the fun they had with this playhouse.

Like the other playhouses in this line there is a slide and a ladder at either side of the decking. Speaking of the decking it is not that high of the ground and it is made safe thanks to this great looking railing that runs the whole way along it. Just be sure if the boys are playing superheroes that no one is trying to jump off it. On one side is the ladder, this is a smaller ladder that has some quite large rungs on it so smaller children will be able to get up and down here no problem. The slide is bound to get a lot of use from the kids themselves and the countless teddies and toy cars that they throw down it.

We always love an apex roof and one of the main features of this line of playhouses is that rather than use mineral or sand felt, actual wood is used to make the roof. Clearly this looks just absolutely fantastic and makes the playhouse look so much more high quality, but it also works well at keeping the rain from sitting on top so it is practical as well. The roof sticks out a little so you have a veranda that covers the decking which is supported by these two high quality beams.

Treatment Requirement And Warranty

A playhouse that looks as lovely as this must be looked after and that starts with the first coating of wood treatment that you give it. This first coat should be applied shortly after you have built it as the treatment the Asian cedar wood has is just a short term, basic form of treatment meant to last a few weeks at most. Once a year a new coating should be applied, you do this and that wood will stay free from rot.

We feel that as long as you are treating the wood once a year then you will not have any issues with this playhouse, but on the off chance you do, you will be covered with a 5 year guarantee.
